Most firms and organizations can profit from the capability of identifying and adopting new technologies for their products, processes, and internal operations. To assist you in developing or enhancing a technology foresight capability, TPAC professionals will visit your organization to conduct a Needs Assessment. They will work with you to see how you can most effectively employ foresight approaches within your organization to identify and ultimately exploit technologies that are not yet commercially available. The Needs Assessment will begin by listening and learning the character of your organization with its specific goals and capabilities. TPAC is uniquely equipped to undertake comprehensive Needs Assessments as it has a wide range of expertise including forecasting and assessment methods, accessing information about new technologies, communicating within and outside the organization, technology management, and organizational change. After learning about your organization and its needs, TPAC will propose steps that can be taken to more effectively integrate technology foresight into your organization's normal activities. The Needs Assessment should take no more than a day on site with recommendations following within a week. There is no charge for the Needs Assessment (except for travel expenses outside metropolitan Atlanta).
